Delighted to be back out in the fields today, frosty start and a bit cloudy, but we had a lovely morning back in the barn field. Himself went in search of his pesky Romans, so I followed my feet and stayed up on the top edge.

Needless to say he found a scrappy Roman… and I found a lovely shortcross hammered 😆 xx

Nice little truck, musket ball, part of a ring, modern silver stud, Roman nail, and buttons! Himself picked up this eagle I think it’s some kind of Resin, but it’s a bit cool, oh and my beautiful short cross hammered 😎 xx

Coin ID…. Henry II minted 1185-1189 silver penny!
