Found this ring. Most of the coins I was digging were in bad shape due to corrosion.

The ring cleaned up fine. How do you tell what it is made of?

Not that I can see but I need to find a magnifying glass to make sure.

"True Love Waits" ring common with teens. If there is corrosion of any kind sticking to it, it is probably plated. None the less, it is always a thrill to find rings, congrats. Sub 8-)

Looks silver run your detector over it you should be able to get a good idea if its in silver range or metal. Good job!!! Hope its a goodin.
