The book says "Connecticut Railway & Lighting Company was created in 1901 as a merger of older companies, but leased street railway properties to other conpanies until October 1, 1936, when it took control for itself. It operated streetcar systems in Norwalk (abandoned 3/34), Waterbury (abandoned 6/37), Bridgeport (abandoned 6/19/37), and New Britain (abandoned 6/19/37)." Apparently, though, the company continued using motor buses as the tokens are indicated to have been used ca. 1958-1963. They all (there are 6 varieties shown) catalog at 50¢ and under (the book was dated 1970.
