Maybe some of you can help me with this.My brother and I found this at a RR depot. Many years
ago when detectors only beeped at metal.I know some of the history of simular tokens like it.
But have not found anything relating to this one.I have seen pics of the temple in Nj and read some of the history.I wonder whats it worth and was it made in the 1930's or 1940's.Thanks for looking.

A Shriner's item. Possibly something handed out to fellow members by the temple's leader. A campaign item or gift item maybe. Not a token in the usual sense of the term. Not a "good for" token, but rather a "token" of friendship I'm guessing. It's a nice find, congrats.

Wolfbite, you might contact them as I'm sure they have some record of the meaning of the medallion.

Thomas Edison invented the light bulb, the phonograph ... He was a Mason, a Shriner and a member of the Florida Club at Winter Haven. ...
