Not sure how many of these coins the service counter folks originally pulled from the coinstar or from the self check out machines but they let me mull over their pulls..
I pay them face value for the pulls...got an early date wheatback , 1910 , sadly, no mint mark and a King George VI...and a 1967 Greek drachma. The later dated wheatbacks I will take to a coin dealer.

that's a funny coincidence...I also pulled a 1910 no mintmark wheat today MDing.
I only ever found one 1910-s wheat in 8 years, it's a tough coin.
I think they only minted 6 million of the s mint or something close to that...sounds like you are detecting in a good area to get a 1910....let's see if we can duplicate another find...wouldn't that be something... :)

Ya I guess, i'm in CA so I suppose s mint is closer to me than any other State. Best of luck :4leafclover:
 
Yes, I've noticed that since San Francisco is on the far side of where I'm at...I rarely get s mints!
I am just the opposite. I finds lots of S mintmarks and very few P's.
