Too good to be true

OUCH! I hate that! People need to think before they bid. There should be a bid cancellation fee that the bidder pays to the seller on an item like that.

That is a kick in the gut huh? Takes the wind out of your sail for a few minutes!

I had someone buy a bracelet for $450. They messaged me a few hours later they found the same one for cheaper, cancel the order. HUH? That doesn't seem fair at all.
she left me weird feedback. I think she forgot she didn't buy it, and wrote how awesome the bracelet was. LOL.

He emailed me asking if I would take $750 because that's all he has available on his credit card. He has a feedback of six and said the money would be in US dollars. Hmm?

Accepted another offer of $650 from someone with the feedback a little bit higher. But that was way too much money to be sitting. 900 would be nice but 650 isn't bad either!

All those high dollar items should be used with the ESCROW service Paypal has.

I have used it several times with good results.

Also beware of the "return" scam. This is where you send the item to them they bought. They are not happy with their purchase and send you a CERTIFIED letter/return. When you say they never sent the item back to you,,, they bring out that "certified" slip of delivery and presto,,, you are out hundreds,, if not more.

Been there,,,done that,,,took a lot of legal to get my money back

I have never heard of that but I'll check into it. Also I'm glad I went with somebody that had higher feedback then other guy who had six. This guy has over 50 but when I checked his return sales or purchases or where he bought stuff it says basically gold jewelry and coins. So more than likely he's a collector. For a lot of people who say feedback is worthless in a situation like this it's actually pretty beneficial to be able to see other things or places they have purchased from in the past.

Maybe he's a member here and he saw that you paid .50 cents for it at the Goodwill store.. Sorry someone had to say it.. lol So you got $650. You can tell us.. What did you pay for it ?

No I bought this one from a private estate. I'll have to check my records but I believe I paid between $450-$500 for it. But it also had a 18 K Mary pendant that sold for $235 as well. So not bad. Hoped for more. But it's cash in the bank. Ready for the next deal. (Tomorrow)
