Took Casper-2's advice today.

He told me on a recent post that a button I found was about 200 years old and that I might want to check the area further. So, I did.

I only had a couple hours and got a LOT of trash!

But, did turn up 3 more buttons.

The only one worth looking at both sides was the gold one. I did clean them just a bit. (soap/water/toothbrush)

The gray one does still say " _EST CO" on it and something around 11 o clock.

Thanks Casper-2 ! I'm planning on at least a few more hunts there.

HH!

those 2 old ones are what we call "flat buttons"
and I would date those to early 1800's+
so you are in an old area
keep at it

It's funny, but without your info, I probably wouldn't have gone back. Thanks!

I'm now planning on trying a hunt where I dig every target, even the ones I "think" are junk. ;)
