I had some time the other day to take some pictures of some frames of flint that we had put together to take for dislay at a couple of local shows. I took some close ups of the some of the highlights plus a picture of a 4 of the 6 Thebes Gap Points from the Guy Brother Cache. Hope you enjoy them all. Most of these pieces were found in Southern Illinois and were found over 80 years ago.

dang how much did that frame cost you?i'd have to mooch off everybody i know to get enough cash to buy one like them.lol almost hard to believe them all are authentic.great frame

Well I guess I am not far from you at all. I teach at South Central Elementary which is close to the clay county line. I hear there are some nice places to go in Clay county. I used to teach at Clay City so have seen a lot of good places in Clay county.

Mooch, do you have coa's on those pieces? Many just look too good to be true imo. I'm not saying they're repros but I'd hate to invest in pieces like that without at least a couple of well known authenticators giving them the ok.

No I dont' have any COA's on any of these points. A few of the well known authenticators have seen them and wanted to buy them all so I didn't figure I needed them. I really trust my own opinion about as well as most of the authenticators.

I know it might be hard to believe, but Mooch is at least third generation collector, if he doesn't know what he's doing by now then we all need help!
