Took up Photography while waiting for the thaw.

Was starting to get stir crazy waiting for the season to start here in Montana. I posted these in general discussion and was advised that they would be good for this forum.




I like taking pictures but I would rather be detecting.

Funny how some photographs can bring up old songs in the memory bank in my head. Dang! have I listen to many, many, many - hours of radio behind the wheel of my life. Conway & Loretta this time.

Neighbor raised pheasants many, many, years ago. A bunch escaped and we'd see pheasant from time to time. He sold out and left, and I haven't seen a local pheasant for several years now. Good pictures, keep up the good work.

I bought a Canon 40D Dslr the other day. It's an older digital but takes great pics and built like a tank.

Anything that keeps us busy and active is a good thing, right? I decided to get back into photography last year and stop devoting so much time to detecting. I think this year I will fish a bit more.

I gave up fishing when I discovered detecting. I like what I catch now with the detector. I think that whatever hobby we pursue is good for the soul.

Your welcome. I liked hearing it again myself. Boy! I got a say there's not a female country superstar out there today who's voice could hold a candle to that true heavenly sound that came out of Loretta Lynn with a real genuine country voice.
