Welcome, I believe that is just a naturally formed rock. No signs of any grinding/polishing or pecking. If it was a tool what would it be used for?

Newnan is correct.

Not even close to being a NA tool. Keep at it and you will eventually find the real deal...

Hard to show take good pics of where its worked. Your telling me the completly flatted nub on pics 5 and 9 is natural? You guys are not looking hard enough. This tool would be great for napping. I have never seen a tool like this. I know its unusual. The finger imprents wrap all the way around it and some of my photos show it.

Not a tool, natural, You say the finger grips are there, but if they aren't natural there would be signs of it being worked to create the areas for the fingers. Therefore your argument of it having finger grips would prove it was a tool, if they showed signs of them being worked to make them grips, but it is not evident.

Welcome to TreasureNet.

Sorry, it is natural rock shaped by natural erosion, not an indian artifact. Dont get caught up in how a rock fits your hand, it will mislead you 99.99% of the time, just like now.

Mother Nature can do amazing things .Fitting in the hand is not an indication of an artifact.

Tony is correct, the way a rock fits a hand is the marvel of the human hand, not a sign of it being an artifact.

Really still cant see where its been worked? The nose and the butt are the only 2 parts that re completly smooth on this thing. And its obvious where they worked in the finger impressions. It does not juat "kind of" fit. It fits like a glove. Humor me and take a closer honest look. This was actually found by my cousin who has shown me hundreda of "tools" he has found over the years. Im always the guy who has to tell him its nothing... This piece has been worked.... Im 100% sure of it. I juat want to know if its fake /modern or an actual artifact. Look at the handle on picture #9 and notice how ithe "waves" are on both sides and match up to give you an idea of how well it fits in your hand. #10 you can see a triangle type cut where the finger impression was notched. #2 is the other side and you can see where the finger impression has a cut also. #11 notice how the cut where the head and handle meet kind of cuts into the handle... small notch there... you can see it in #5 also. and again the "nose" is very flat and very smooth, unlike the rest of the piece which is very rough. the but is also completly flat and is the only other part on this entire piece that is very smooth.

So you?re saying that?s a very rough, but obvious bigazz finger-gripped? stone handle, with no hand use wear, that features a telltale flat yet smooth nose. Ok.

I can?t see it though.

The most generous suggestion would be that any rock picked by a NA and simply broken apart is considered an artifact by archeologists.
