Where are you located

Northeastern Mass., suburban Boston. There are so many stone walls and structures around they become background noise, most don’t give them a second thought.

The NEARA website is being updated and there is not much to view there at the moment, but here are some of the sites we have been researching and recording in the Northeast. The large stone "platform cairn" seen from Pa. is really impressive. Recently, we relocated the research my team undertook in an Audubon Society site in RI, one of the earliest efforts to record a major stone cairn site in the Northeast:

Curtiss Hoffman, archaeologist with the Massachusetts Archaeological Society, recently completed a survey of know possible native stone construction sites for the entire East coast of the US. Also, since the OP is from Alabama, he may find the following links of interest...

Oh brother, here we go.

We just call them as we see them.

Maybe YOU can enlighten US with years of experience and explain where you see evidence that those rocks have been modified by mans hand at some point in the past.

Most tools are pretty easily recognizable as such. On that scraper, it was maybe a reworked point. Cool find.

I agree with your point but posting while half in the bag with inappropriate language doesn’t help convince anyone you know what your talking about.
