Topsail Island

Has anybody had any luck detecting Topsail Island N.C. lately?

No. I have found a few junk rings and a wheat penny over the last month. About 5-6 weeks ago there was a week where I kept finding tons of quarters and nickels but the beach has been cleaner than ever since then. Yesterday in 2 hrs at low tide I think I found maybe like 34 cents and some junk. I tend to head there when the low tides are in the day because of the free parking. I only hunt the left/right of the main pier though so it could be different elsewhere. I do see a few guys out there though from time to time.
