and they make excellent boat anchors as well.just drain all the transmission fluid. as there are enough pollutants in our lakes and rivers

I have never used a torque converter on my metal detector, how does the torque effect your swing, i use a natural swing myself...

Junk yards buy those for the metals rhodium Palladiam and pollidium

Just emptying any piece of equipment will not clean out the interior 100% resulting in pollution. If you’re concerned about the water quality of our lakes and oceans, I am wondering why you would suggest that Magnet Angler use a torque converter with residual transmission fluid still in it for a boat anchor when a boat anchor can be used as a boat anchor?

uh I think you mean catalytic converters. Torque converters go for scrap & some smaller junk yards won't mess with them because of the residual trans fluid.

boogeyman is 100% correct. What you described Tommy is a catalytic converter.
Torque converter connects the engine to automatic transmission while catalytic converter is part of the vehicles exhaust system.

Makes note to not have Tommy work on my vehicle :D

I thought the torque converter connected to the Flux Capacitor ???:icon_scratch:

Just a error trust me Ive worked on cars my whole life I had it in my mind that it was a catalytic converter. Not enough booze I dont think straight lol or walk straight.

And he's got the complete set of left handed crescent wrenches to prove it! Metric & SAE to boot!

Everyone knows the torque converter only gets engaged after you reach Warp speed 6!

They are heavy, I lift em every day.
Tough to tell, but from the pic I’d say big block ford, C6 transmission!
