tow behind boat magnetometer?

I have had an offer from someone who has this ;

Proton 4 metal detector, boat towed ferrous metal detection, sonar, magnetometer, rov, video, pinger, cable tracker

and wondered if anyone has used one, had experience with one or similar?

I have the Proton 3. Had it for 20 years. It's a great tool for finding shipwrecks. The Proton 4 is even easier to use. I can be down there next week to do a mag survey if you need one.

Would $10k be a decent price for the type 4?
also, I know they detect cannon etc but would it detects small items such as ships spikes and the like?

A Fisher unit is OK but not great , I have a 8x and that can't compare with my Aqua Scan. If you are looking for the best it's a Geometrics 882 like night and day from the fisher.
