Trade axe.

This was dug last fall, took me some time before I got around to cleaning it. Was wondering if anyone could tell me anything about it? The site is no indication, and there are no markings (stamps).

Here's a closer pic.... I'm still not sure I see much more than pitting, but I'm not familiar with various trademarks....If you've got any references let me know. I did try running it through various filters in photoshop but could really find anything...

Yea it's hard to tell. I always seem to see these best with raking light held at a very low angle. Even if it is a mark, it would probably be very difficult to match it to anyone. Nice ax nevertheless....
