Trade item?

Fairly modern copper cross from the beach or Indian trade item? No markings...the site it was found in produces archaic projectile points all the way up to coins from the 1980's.

Have you found any Spanish items on that site? It looks like a rosery cross.

I would guess modern also. The indians really did not care to trade for religion. Copper items are used to plate and the plate wears away leaving copper.
