Trade Silver? ID Help?

Hello Everyone,

I found this "silver" disk on a site that dates roughly from 1800-1850,
but there are pre and post period influences found here too.

There is no modern influence on this site that I have ever found.
It's about as pristine as an MD-er can ask for.

I've found all kinds of relics here:
cartouche knife pieces, carved bone-handles knives, russian blues and whites and even a silver ear-bob.

But I'm not sure what to make of this.

Your thoughts?

In my humble opinion the disk looks more like half of a Bail or cloth seal most likely made of a lead/tin mix. They were sealed most of the time in the center and broken open leaving a hole like the one you show on your item... a good way to test for silver is to place a tiny drop of bleach on it.. if it turns gray or black in a few min.s or less then it is likely to be silver .. you can re-clean the spot with baking soda lightly... I have found many in the same condition but I do not have a photo right on hand but here are a few examples but these are lead ... I have found them in all shapes and sizes some even were gilded with gold leaf .. oh and I came a cross a "JM" brooch in the past... those are far and few in between ...good luck and happy hunting!
