Trash or Treasure Nugget?

Probably Lead I guess. Found in Pismo Beach, Ca. on the Beach. Any ideas?

I cant tell a hell of a lot about it need more info.
like weight size ,compare to coin. magnetic,etc. Jimbob

The metal seems to be melted on top of a black rock. The size is 2 inches x 3 inches and the weight is heavy - six empty beer cans of weight.

"Corprolite" or what they call petrified dinosaur droppings,

though I'm not at all sure about the petrified part, OR the dinosaur part either. :wink: :D

Found @ Dinosaur Caves, Ca. - Good call. I guess I shouldn't have kissed it when I thought it was a silver nugget.

I agree. Most likely melted aluminum from a campfire melted onto a rock. I find them all the time on the beach. It could also be melted solder. Not silver. Silver would be black.
If you are really interested in testing the metal, I can tell you how to make a metal testing solution from Nitric Acid and Potassium Dichromate. This is what I use to ID unknown metals. Silver test.webp
