Found this yesterday during a quick hunt. Gently cleaned it. Don’t want to scrub on it too much. “Treble Gilt Standard Colour” Can anyone give a round about date? Civil War activity was in the area.
 
British manufactured. Probably dates 1815-1830.

Looks like an eagle on the backmark? I've never seen that, very interesting. I'm not a good button ID guy, would be interesting to see better closeups and maybe this posted on "what is it" forum
