Treed!

Walked into the yard yesterday with the Catahoula and he went racing around back. When I got there, he had treed a momma bear and 3 cubs. They stayed till almost dark. My camera was having trouble focusing with the shade coming on and the sun going down...here's a few:

I'm on what they call the "bear corridor". The breeding/birthing area is south of here and I see the migration to and from every year. I caught one big male on the game cam here the other night and had one smaller male cross the driveway ahead of me this am. They don't bother me at all...

Those are great pics! No bears in the area of Florida I live in but probably not to far.

He's a rare color. Blonde only. You can only see his spots when he's wet. He has cracked eyes too...
