Trees of Christmas

I don't mind being Cyn for the night :)
as long as don't have to dress like MM :D

Here's our tree.
Kind of traditional and simple with some of the kids handmade ornaments and some others I picked up the past two years since I have been living out here. Notice near the bottom, all the ornaments are missing. The cats have been having some great soccer games the past few days using them. ;D ;D

Merry Christmas and happy new year to you all.
Love seeing all your trees. They are beautiful!
Great thread Wes!

Smiles!

All the trees are 'very nice', Mrs Fossis asked me to cut one today while I was in the country, & she decorated it tonight.

Merry Christmas all.

Got this in an email this morning. Interesting concept and a beautiful result.

It's a "Redneck Christmas Tree"!

Wes had started this post on seeing everyone's Christmas trees. I have not put up a big tree in years, do you have any idea what it's like to haul things down from the attic? Seems no one is never around to help with the tasks >:(, so I'm about giving it up. Ever start to fall from the 5th rung up on the folding attic stairs? I'm just fortunate that I dropped what was in my hand and jumped. Believe me it took every bit of 45 minutes to stop shaking. :'( Besides that, large trees in order to be put up, you have to rearrange furniture. Well, that's out of the question cause that's how I hurt my back and had to get out of the military. :'( I have a total of 6 trees, 4 inside...2 outside. Not all pictured. Enjoy

Merry Christmas

;) RR

I got this idea from a garden club member, it made with a tomato cage, grape vine wrapped around. The "decorations" (my own idea) are made from old Christmas cards from now deceased family members. It's my Memory Tree. If you would like to know how they're made, just PM me.

Try going up a looong flight of stairs and getting into a small crawlspace to get things out with a bum knee! :-\

RR...those are three very beautiful trees, each with a unique theme! Thanks for posting :-*

Same as last year! I keep the small trees in the basement, already decorated. I just put garbage bags over them. Easy to put up.

This is my kitchen tree. I decorated it with cookie cutters, miniature cooking utensils, and vintage glass balls. Behind the tree you can see my garage sale stained glass window. It's installed on an interior wall.

This is my snowman tree. I fill the entranceway with snowmen...and keep this tree up until our snow outside melts....usually about July. :o :o :o This is the other side of my stained glass window.

This is just a simple tree that I put in my dining room. It's covered with those vintage twisted tin icicles. It's kinda funky and cool.

This is my favorite. This tree is absolutely amazing in real life. It's covered with vintage and antique glass ornaments. It takes me hours and hours and hours to put all of those on the tree....but the effect is worth it.

Here's my wooden shoe collection that I get out every Christmas.

And my Stocking collection!

My basement tree only has my wood carvings on it.

Merry Christmas to all from Tikrit, Iraq, COB Speicher

Not much of a tree compared to all your very beatutful trees
but we like it. It stands in our office and
brings thoughts of home this time of year.
Not many pine trees here in middle of desert to cut, not many
trees at all for that matter.
Thanks to everyone for posting your pictures they are all excellent
Hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Jack: Thanks for your service! No matter what the tree it's still the spirit that always comes through and no doubt will bring memories of the Christmases you've spent at home. Sta safe!

Lisa: Those are some very pretty trees. I'm glad you gave us a close-up of the carvings as I was gonna ask you for one. The white tree is gorgeous!

BTW: I have a "stocking" collection but they are hanging on every available doorknob and furniture knob in this big o'l house. Way too many different pics to show them so just ude your imagination! :D

Here's a few pics of my tree, it's not much but the kids had fun decorating it :)
