I believe this to be a jugal spike from a triceratops. I stumbled across a very amazing and fascinating site tucked away in a gulley at the beginning of a wash while on a walk. The wash has been exposing a graveyard of sorts with many more, I believe, still to be exposed. It appears to be a herd of triceratops of all ages and sizes.

Nice! I wouldn't know a dino bone if it bit me in the arse, but if you believe there are dino remains there I'd suggest contacting a paleontologist group and have them check it out. :icon_thumright:

What state/country?

A few photos I took on my walk...
That looks like a nice walk. Are there pictures of dinosaur bones among the rocks? I'm not sure that stone you have is a Jugal bone, but it is certainly unusual. This is where the Jugal bone would come from.
