Most of you already know that my coil can be a clad magnet sometimes.
But, sometimes, one just has to take off the kid gloves and get down to
business. I did that today, for about 1.5 hours. (I just couldn't stand all
the extra digging in that sun today!! :dontknow: )

This is the net results of that hour & a half's *work*!

2015 (524).jpg

As you can see, it was a "different" kind of a hunt!
I knew this place has been hit for years! But, there are a LOT
of signals there! Trash!
Sometimes, one gets a reward for all that work. Not this time.

It isn't all bad though. Once I got completely tired I turned for the car,
which was over 400 yards away, and said, OK, "on the way back to the car",
I'll do a more easy/normal type of searching and wind down. It took me
ANOTHER 1.5 hours or so to get back to the car!! LOL

2015 (527).jpg

That little strip with the "Fishies" on it?
Stamped .925! :)

2015 (531).jpg

Soooo, after all that trash removal, earlier, and just trying to
add to the battery fund, I get this:

2015 (532).jpg

What's more, after I turned it around this happened.....again!!!

2015 (533).jpg

So, I need to rethink the dig it all theory again! LOL

But, there was trouble in the homestead. A friend
of Fishy's came over, he wasn't in too good a mood.
(crabby, ya know?) ;)

But, he decided that it was going to be HIM who kept this
Shiny shiny. Blingie had other ideas!

2015 (528).jpg

2015 (529).jpg

Boy! I knew Blingie was possessive but....WOW!!

2015 (530).jpg

You can see why he might would want this one. :)

All in all, a wonderful outing !
I am POOPED!! :)

Thanks for stopping by!!

Love the pirate!!! You are correct, I dig it all, so when I come back another time, I might pull what was once masked. You ought to be on the pay roll for cleaning the property of trash.

So is that ring plated? Good hunt!

Actually, no it's not plated. It is marked as .925 and it looks like it's been in the ground for quite a while. The
ground there has a strange mottling effect on silver. Not sure why.

Regards,

I can understand that in relic hunting. But, on a school ground? In order to
dig every single beep, I might as well hire a backhoe and a screen. ;)

Leave it to Blingie to bring out the big guns when his shiny shiny on the line! Whoa!
You got to love those trips back to the car, even if it does take "a while" to get there. Lol! I know how that goes
Very nice finds there sir! Congrats! And did you test the stone yet?

I didn't make it out today, bummer. Glad to see you did and scored big!
I hope this works it's from my ph....if the screen size gets any smaller I will need a tooth pick to text with !

Looks like your phone is doing it's job. Message got through perfectly!

Thanks!

I did test these stones right away, really didn't think they were real though. Not because they don't put real diamonds in silver, because they do indeed! But because this was the BIGGEST, clearest stone I've ever found and it was in .925 silver! :)

I don't trust my own testing but it didn't even hint at any of the three stones as real.

BUT.....there is good news as well!

Remember this piece?

2015 (401).jpg 2015 (411).jpg

Found it in this thread: http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/today-s-finds/470187-did-some-shadow-hopping-today.html

Well, as a lark, I took it along to test with the ring. The diamonds are real in it! LOL I swear, they look really bad under magnification, but they're real! Probably worth two cents apiece but still! LOL
And I have you to thank for finding out! If you hadn't hinted they might still be real, I wouldn't have tested!

Thank you, milady!

Wow! That ring ought to stack a few batteries in the reserve. It's amazing isn't all that can slaw out there. They should of stuck to plastic and glass bottles. LOL
