Tried Dimes and Quarters...Skunked on both.

I ordered my first box of halves from B of A but they wont be here until Tuesday . So to pass the time on this very snowy weekend I thought I would get my fix from some dimes so I picked up 2 boxes yesterday. Nothing, Nada, Zip no silver at all. I cashed them in today and bought a box of quarters. Again a big fat goose egg. Maybe tommorrow I will try to redeem myself with some nickels.

Oh well at least I did make a nice batch of Deer Jerky today .

Homemade jerky is the best...I make my own too. My only silver quarters have come from the jr. student store my wife runs as a counselor...no luck with rolls. Have done well with dimes when I can't find halves. Have found 2.5 rolls in silver and some nice Mercs too! HH

If you want gratifying results, pennies and nickels are the way to go. Apparently halves are pretty good too, but I haven't done those before. In dimes you're usually likely to come away with something. With quarters you're very unlikely to find any to tell you the truth. Good luck with your searching!

I have done ok with the dimes in the past. But not found a silver quarter yet.
