Trifecta silver , and another gold ring today at low tide

Hi

Well, while busy this morning washing the porch, sweeping the outdoor rugs, and planting 20 Phlox in the front yard, , I heard in my head a voice from the shoreline beckoning me to pay a visit there, so good-bye mop, good- bye rake, good- bye broom, and good-by shovel!

Got there about 1/2 hour after lowest tide point, and started working my way back to shoreline in a 2 hour hunt.

First silver ring was not deep..about 5"; low tide mud.

Then I picked out the 10K class ring in a low area where the water had been running out to the ocean..medium, solid sound, about 5" deep in same muddy area.

Then came the second silver ring....marked from Thailand; with the image of what looks like an angel?, but not sure what it is. This ring was deep in the mud..about 10"again , the same area.

About 5 minutes later, the earring rang clear at about 6" deep...yup, same general area.

The tide was racing me in to the shoreline , and I had to get back home to the yard work, so that was it.

It's been a long while since I found 3 rings in a 2 hour hunt, so I was happy.

The tide was racing me in to the shoreline , and I had to get back home to the yard work, so that was it.

Just finished up a few days up your way and No one would ever know how fast the tide comes in up there unless they hunted it...In one hour it can change a good foot. totally different then what I am use to of maybe 18 inchs in 6 hours.

Congratulations Lorraine. You're doing great and a class ring is on my list. Especially if I can find and return one to it's owner. It doesn't get better than silver and gold. I spent an hour yesterday doing our church prayer list while waiting on Mama to finish her appointment and then hit the don't save instead of save and had to do it all over again today. I hope to get out next week for some detecting. I might just hit the river in my wetsuit in the early morning if the storm holds off until later in the day.
