Could this be a trilobite fossil? It was found on a beach in Saint Maarten. I thought trilobite fossils were flat but I could be wrong.

Neat. It's the segmented shell from a type of marine mollusc known as a 'chiton', and probably Chiton squamosus. Likely a juvenile, from the small size. Difficult to say if it is actually fossilised from just a picture, but I would assume so from the location unless it has been dumped from someone's aquarium.
