Never, ever thought I'd find one, but here she is... poppy little squeaker about 8 inches down, hell of a time pinpointing it until it was outta the hole....

Also dug this super tight V-Nick...possibly the best I ever dug:

Here's the rest:

And here's a video: but fair warning: I was so excited about the Trime...I forgot to record it :BangHead:

That's probably the best dug V nickle I have seen. Congrats!

looks a little bent, but then it is about as thick as 3 sheets of paper. got my '52 early this spring. hiding next to iron, and down 6" plus. what a thrill to find and you nailed it

Nice digs man I guess you forgot to record the V nickel too.
Are you sure your Chinese coin wasn't a tax token? It looked a little thin

Nope. I filmed it. Its there.

You're right I'm sorry I went back and looked again

Thank you for sharing your hunt and those pictures with us

Trimes are a sweet find. I have found two since I have using an AT PRO. Had it for a year now. Love it. Keep Swinging!!

Great Video! That V-Nick was in awesome shape, most mine have been destroyed by the soils here. What did that 3-center read as? Did you find it with the ATP?

Yep, found it with the AT Pro at about 8 inches. It was a weird signal (I always run with Iron Audio on) kinda squelchy, but a little high sweet tone that was staying between a 68 to a 78 down to a 65 up to a 78. Now, I find that for some reason, maybe the soil or what have you, a "normal dime signal" reads 81/82. Around here, OLDER silver (your mercs, seated, and barber dimes) always hit at 78. Don't know why, but it is. Wasn't gonna dig it at first, but then figured, "What the hell... it's the first plug...Might as well!" Glad I did ;)

Awesome! thats good to know..i used to discriminate, but Latley i have changed my ways...The Numbers sound about right, 81-83ish for dimes, sometimes higher if they are shallow..but my Barbers are always dead on 80. My IH's are always in the 70-73 range..have no idea why

But its good to know I wouldnt pass on of these up
