Hey Paul! Yes it's true that detectors work better when there is moisture in the ground. Better conductivity with the target. I don't know the answer to the second question. I was finding targets on a frozen beach last winter on the Columbia but I gave up trying to dig them. Went back after the thaw.

Thinking of Goldendale, I suppose they would kick us out of Stonehinge or Maryhill Castle.

Yea, Mary Hill would be great! But I agree, they would hang us for sure. As soon as the Checks arrive from the corporate office, I will be down that way.....I'll keep you posted.
