True, or false????

I have heard a few things about detectors, and was wondering if they were true ,or not............First, do detectors really go deeper when the ground is wet? and second, is it true that detectors don't work well when there is frost , or snow on the ground? or when the ground is frozen?

Hey Paul! Yes it's true that detectors work better when there is moisture in the ground. Better conductivity with the target. I don't know the answer to the second question. I was finding targets on a frozen beach last winter on the Columbia but I gave up trying to dig them. Went back after the thaw.

Thinking of Goldendale, I suppose they would kick us out of Stonehinge or Maryhill Castle.

Yea, Mary Hill would be great! But I agree, they would hang us for sure. As soon as the Checks arrive from the corporate office, I will be down that way.....I'll keep you posted.
