trying to return dogs tag

I was detecting at a local park yesterday and found 3 dog tags, for dogs not people. One had a e-mail address on it so I sent them an e-mail. Im waiting for a reply, I hope I can return this tag to it rightful owner. Ill keep you posted

I recived an email from the owners and they live in naples so i will drive by and give them the tag. they said their dog Suzi is doing fine, the dog that lost the tag. This is also the first item that i can return to the owner!

my dang dog has lost 2 like the ones you engrave....finally riveted on the last one...it is staying nicely.

I don't know. A tattoo might not hurt as much as rivets.

I found a set a few months back. I called the number on the tags, think it was a rich dog, it had a chip, thats what one of the tags said, anyway, I called and the owner was shocked, not so much that I'd found them but the fact that I was calling to try and get an address to mail and return them. Anyway, they wanted to send me something for finding them and I insisted that he didn't. But a few days later low and behold I get an envelope addressed to "Good Samaritan" with a thank you and 20 bucks enclosed. I cried because I was so emotional...NOT!!!.. but it does make you feel good.
