Recently formed Tropical Storm Fay is increasing in intensity and moving fast; expected to hit Florida early next week.

The National Hurricane Center says Tropical Storm Fay has formed in the Caribbean

Tropical Storm Fay formed over the Dominican Republic on Friday afternoon, bypassing the customary step of first being deemed a tropical depression.

Well, I got good news and bad news about the storm. I just came from the beach. The good news is the new beach sand that they just pumped in is all gone, but the old sand is still pretty much all there.

My sons (miket and yukonbob) and I have been planning a trip to visit family members (Patrick Air Force)over in Melbourne for weeks now - and of course had planned on bringing our detectors to go as often as possible. And when is our trip slated for? Thurs morning early! Does anyone know - is A1A is closed for sure?

My daughter in law said the rains were torrential and terrible winds this morning. We are bringing ponchos but if you see two figures one in bright pink and another in bright yellow up in the sky tomorrow - that will be two of us (I don't know what color Bob has).

Yes. Some areas have had 24" of rain!!! Not to good.
