Tube bannerstone, and flint celt.

I found this tube bannerstone in a field, the next field over was a field for planes to land. I was with my cousin, I was in the field for about ten minutes and I walked on the side of this little bank, I saw the bannerstone sticking straight up and down in the mud. The hole in it caught my eye. The banner measures 6 inches. It looks to have ancient damage on the end. It is an awesome find. I have never found one so complete.
The flint celt is a awesome piece. It measures right at 4 inches. It was found in Pike County, Ohio along the Scioto River. The bannerstone was found in Southern Ross County, Ohio.

Very nice finds. That banner is find of a lifetime imo. I know of two small airports that are bulit on sites, one paleo.

killer finds.that bannerstone is a great find, congrats.the celt may actully be an adze,it appears to be flat on one face.

The slate tube is a killer piece but I find the most interesting is that the little adze if made from what looks like Kaolin Flint from Southern IL
