So I went to Myrtle Beach Monday and came back Tuesday night (last night) and this is the goods from 2 days at the beach and a few tot lots
Mercury Dime came from an abandoned hotel across from my hotel they were tearing it down. Got run off by the police who sited danger to myself as the reason given.
Was able to recover the Mercury Dime (1944=D) and maybe $1.50 in pocket change..
I also went so that I could test the DEUS II in the wet salt sand for small gold.. I was very impressed to say the least..
AND although I did not get any, it reacted with Extreme sensitivity on all the pieces I tried. I'll show you a picture..
In the WET SALT SAND the only thing it wouldn't hit is that chain, I think its too small for any detector.. everything else sounded good, even at the low tide line..

the rest are fishing weights and foil, and small BBs and small lead pieces..

Interesting bunch of finds. Got run off by the police though? That’s not good…

It wasn't posted, and there was nobody around, doors were open and clearly they are in DEMO of this old hotel,
I think someone saw me there and called because his excuse was "It's too dangerous for you to be there..
Clearly looking at the picture, it wasn't dangerous and I even said that to him, but clearly someone called and asked them to run me off ....
Its ok, it was 95 degrees and I needed water and breakfast..
Onto the next adventure..
