Hunted mostly solo today, Mike S joined for 2 hours and dug a 51 Franklin half, then went to other spots. I stayed on the same spot, a house where we had permission to hunt and got 44 Memorials, 47 wheats, an old Tootsie Toy Dragster, some sort of cast iron train car, 3 silver Roises, a Merc and a '42 Walker half. Ronnie, another fellow I hunt with was doing his onw thing and also got a silver Franklin, along with a SL quarter and Merc.

Live in Spring, do 95% of my hunting in Houston. If you are interested in a hunt PM me. Also check out coinshootingonline for more area information if you haven't already.

Just curious. How deep are the halves. Wondering if my 250 would detect one.(If I were in an area where I could find them).

This lot was one where there were large oaks on the yard, and zero grass. No dirt or fill had ever been added. Lots of oak tree roots exposed and all targets were 3 to 4". Both halves were very shallow. A pin pointer would have found them. House was built in 49.

Great Finds !! Congrats on your silvers !! I like the dragster ... very cool !

Amazing finds Jerry....Well amazing to me. Seems like a daily hunt for you, LOL. I really like seeing what you dig. Gives me lots of hope... Congrats.

Hunted today for about 3 hours, til it started to mist a bit too heavy for me. Only got 1 silver, a '53 Rosie, but did get a .925 Frog ear ring, another pair of captains bars this time silver, and assorted 'stuff'. 51 memorials, 8 wheats, and other clad. Looks to be a really good lot, I just hit the driveway side of the front of it. I go really slow with the CTX. Slow to me is like 5 to 10 seconds from left to right, then another 5-10 back.
