Tuesday's gone with the wind

And so is one of my hunting spots. Dozers and pans moved in Wednesday and started moving dirt. Found a good many there the past month or so since it was stumped even with not much rain. Would have likely been a lot more had it rained hard a few times. These are likely the last from it. Last one I found was a broke Dalton. Thanks for the look-

I am sorry for you. You have a had full of nice points. What are they going to build there?

Where are they hauling the dirt? I'd be checking any piles they are making for sure.

Great saves !

I feel your pain, I too have lost many sites due to population and industrial growth.

At least you were able to save some. The points you find and post I would have to guess you have many other spots still. King of Quartz :)

That's very unfortunate SCrocks. Maybe you can sneak in a couple more times after they've flipped that dirt for you. Save you some work before they really mess it up for you. Nice finds.

That's painful to see, but I hope you can capitalize with some great rescues.

You should ask for permission to walk right now they'll also probably be digging drainage and a retention pond

Oh no! But like some said maybe you can get permission to poke around in that spot some more or find out where the soil is going. Similar thing has been happening at my work due to a 4 lane being built. It's really sad.

Break of dawn Crocks... Jk! Of course. Permission is the right thing to do. I don't know what I was thinking. :}

In my experience if you chat with the guys out there on the site most could care less as long as you stay out of their way they might not own the property but they would be the only ones to say anything about someone walking on it so if they're cool with you walking there should be no problem I know I've done it before

Permission usually is not a problem for me. I have to admitt it helps when you are one of the inspectors for the job. I'm very lucky. There's not to many big job sites in the county that I can't pull up on, get out and walk around. And I usuallly do. Thanks for the comments
