Relic Hunting
This past winter while I was recovering from my second knee replacement, I decided to tumble these iron finds. These relics were all recovered from farm fields in Ontario. I tumbled these for 4 days with the tumbling medium being changed every 24 hours. I use a Lortone 45C Tumbler with ½” – ¾” polished aquarium stones, course beach sand, warm water, and a squirt of liquid dish soap. I then use a Conservators Wax to seal and polish the iron. Here are the before and after pics.

Thanks for looking,
Dave
