THANKS FOR THE SCHOOLING ON RESIZING THE PICTURES IT WAS A PIECE OF CAKE!!! SHOULD OF JOINED IN THE CHAT BEFORE I SPEANT A WEEK TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO POST PICTURES, STRESS LEVEL NOW DOWN TO MINIMAL LEVELS, THANKS A MILLION AND A HALF!!!

P.S. YOU'LL HAVE TO GO BACK TO MY ORIGINAL (MICH ARROW HEADS )TO SEE THE NEW PICTURES.
 
Neat Dig'em! It looks like it could also be a net sinker. Is that groove all the way around it?

badandy, dude you're slipping :D :D look close, most definately a turtle carving with the head cut off. First one I've ever seen I must say.. (still looks like soapstone though) ;D
 
I took a good look at it... it's harder than soapstone... can't scratch it with a fingernail.

The origin of this was Lookout Valley near Trenton, Georgia. Found by my father about 1980.
 
That is soooooo unique. :o A lifetime treasure.
