The fourth is the back section of the boulder that I believe are marks that were made when the rock was quarried. I always make a point to photograph all of the signs or possible signs that I find while out in the field. Sometimes they don't seem significant at the time but later, after I've had a chance to think about them and learn more about signs and symbols, I realize that they are very important. Then there are times when I photograph a sign at a certain time of day and it doesn't make much sense but when I go back the next time at a different time of day and shoot it from different angles, I can figure out what the sign is telling me. I've learned the hard way NOT to post photographs of signs or sites that I'm working on or to give away the locations where they were taken but since this one is in a very obvious public place, I'm not worried that it will give away any information that will affect the sites that I'm most interested in. I'm still not going to give the exact location of this boulder but I know that any of the stalkers who see it will be able to figure out where it's at but they'll have to do a little research anyway and it does my heart good to see them have to work for something for a change.
