Turtle Eggs ??

Wife found these in our yard. North Mississippi in the country. 15 eggs. Hatched or raided by Armadillo? Are they turtle eggs?

If you have snapping turtles around they are. Water or swamp often in sight of a nest. (Being within scent distance would be next. )
They will hike a ways to lay.
I've never seen one dig to lay eggs where it wasn't dry.
They probably still want some humidity/moisture in the soil still. Breathable though ; and not subject to being flooded.

Here in the North racoons and other critters dig them up.
Watched a fox trying to locate a nest before in daylight too. That nest got a wire milk crate set atop it.
Steep bank to river was around eighty yards away. Then a good forty or more yards down the steep slope to wet ground.

Those are hatched turtle eggs. I see them a lot on the beaches here. If it was predation the shells would be ripped all up. I see that too. Beach raccoons are tough on turtle nests.
