Went to one of my favorite parks today. One half of a standing Liberty quarter,1935 and 1943 mercury dimes,16 wheat cent's.

And $4.49 in clad. I found a total of 87 coins today.

That's the first I've seen of "clipped" more or less modern US coins, usually what you see are older clipped spanish coins!!

That's taking the commonly dateless SLQ to a whole nother level.
Just out of curiosity, on the reverse of your SLQ, the eagle should be visible. Are the 3 stars under the eagle or are they missing?
( missing indicting it could have been a 1916 or 1917)

Yes it has the stars under the eagle. I have found 2-1917 Slq,s. at the same park

I have a couple of silver dime's that have been cut by a lawnmower. This was my first silver coin that was cut on purpose. I have 14 Spanish silver coins but no cut ones.

I got a clipped washington at one my first permissions back in the day. Just figured it got hit with the lawn mower. 😂
