SUPER :) Id take those in a heartbeat over the recent boxes Ive been
getting. Love the old 90%'rs , cant beat 'em.

Nice finds!

I think that is the first "Painted Lady" ever reported found on this chat board.

The 64 "proofs" were really near proofs issued in Special Mint Sets, I think.
I also think a lot of what we think are proofs were just nicely struck coins. They made 'em better back then.

This forum appears to be at two extremes right now, with regards to finding keepers.

On behalf of us currently on the non-finding end of the spectrum, still waiting for that pendulum to swing back. :-X
 

In 64 the proofs were minted in Philly not San Fran. Came in 2 varieties. Regular and heavily accented hair. Check that your 1976-S might be silver(40%) business strike.
