Holy smokes those are freakin cool Banner in my Book. I never even knew they existed Great History and coins. Thanks for sharing those . Stay safe my friend. Tommy
I see you are adding to your collection from your finds in December Well done !
As I wrote in December........ The coin is similar to one minted within the reign of Peter the Great; probably 1689-1725 as indicated here: here:https://www.educationalcoin.com/medi...usswirealb.pdf The legend on the reverse has several close similarities. Most interesting (and silver) find !! Don.......
The Cryillic language entire legend on the reverse would read: ЦРЬИBE / ЛИКIИKHЯ / ЗЬПЕТРЬЯ / ЛЕЗIЕВИЧЬ / ВCEЯРω / ССIИ - meaning “Tsar and Grand Prince Peter Alekseevich of Entire Russia.” ETP is seen on this coin. The words in old Cyrillic run together, but the first two lines translate to “Tsar and Grand Prince,” the third and forth line is “Peter Alekseevich,” the fifth is “of Entire” and the sixth is “Russia." A coin filled with history, for sure.
Don.....
