The other day I went out to a lot and spent about 2 hours, came home with a 1904 O Barber
quarter. Hit the same lot again today and came home with a 1923 S Standing Liberty Quarter. The 1923 all you cam see is the 3 but looking at the years and where the date is 1923 is the only year that it can be, as to my best guess. There is still a lot of lot to search & I am hoping to break into the 1800'S on this lot. Not much else on the lot but I'm happy with the two quarters as they are the first of each that I have found.

Sweet silver! Love that Standing Liberty Quarter - I hope to find one someday.

Nice silver

Congratulations on the SLQ, still need to find one of those yet!

Thank you all for the replies I have only had a detector for just one year and this year is st rating out to be a great one. Hope I can finish as strong as I started.

Nice finds. Those walking coins are famous for the dates being gone. I found my first in December with no readable date

Fantastic quarter finds, Bula!

Yes, if the SLQ is a '23 S, it's a high money coin!

Way to go,these coins should have been mine!I've searched this same lot at least a half dozen times. The barber quarter is a good 5 not a fine like you had hoped, does'nt matter, your kicking my rear end! Kane 23
