Sunday I had the pleasure of hunting at the 1830's CW house with Burdie (Stan) for about 4 hours. It was all we could take, as it was mid 90's and humid as all get-out.
He and his wife Vicki were passing through on their way to the NC mountains.Burdie wasn't there more than 10 minutes and scored a nice old buckle piece. See his post from yesterday.
I found some pretty neat things including one button that made my day.
Long story short, Nick and I had a bet this year on who would get the first CW eagle button and the first Large Cent.
An eagle button was worth $5, and an LC was worth $10. Let's just say, the LC is still up for grabs.

Also pictured is a humorous bumper sticker idea I came up with that TN-Jorge put to vinyl for me. Thanks Jorge!
My finds for the day were:
*A CW Infantry Eagle button with a Scovill's backmark. Lots of beautiful gold gilt still on it. Yeah Baby!!!!
This was a very faint signal out in the middle of the field. I'm glad I decided to dig.

*A Centennial (?) suspender clip with a flying Eagle and "1776 - 1876" on it.
I love this piece because it is dated. This has to be my best suspender clip so far.
*A decorative copper plate of some sort? I listed it in the "what is it section", with most guesses being a brooch.
*A token with only some of the lettering readable.
Ivan ID'd it yesterday in the "what is it" section as a vendor entertainment token. Thanks Ivan.
*Lead seal, possibly railroad related since the tracks was only 100 ft away. I can make out two of the three letters on one side as "RX", and the back has "H-55".
*A 1935 Buff Nickel and a 1926 Wheat penny.
*Other asst'd mystery metal.
Had a great time with Burdie.
Thanks for looking Folks,
MM
P.S. My brother says I say "uh" and "anyways" too much in my videos, so I'll have to work on that.
