We have company again this weekend and not the metaldetecting type
They do sleep late though so out for 2 1/2 hrs at the crack of dawn for a fix . I went back to my neices and kept working the trashy ash dump area where I found the big silver spoon and the snuff box . This site is starting to slow down but besides some clad I did manage two keepers . The sterling silver walking stick topper was my top find of the day
The cap has a nice crest or initials ornately etched into the silver. I am hoping someone can decipher this script because I cannot
The other decent find was the Knights of Columbus plate That seems pretty old
I would guess late 19th century Thanks for looking ! MaineRelic
