My first thought would be a fabric topped button that once was on some kind of furniture. Late 50s early 60s I believe

Just added two new pictures. Found another one about 50 feet away. This one has an iron back plate.

Added two more pictures. I also found this gilded button near them and the iron back plates look very similar.
