Top left one seems to me but I could be wrong grinded down and the other had a interesting shape

After a few posts my advice stop looking at the shape so much. Look for chipping and work on edges. Shapes help don't get me wrong but don't get hung up on them. Look for signs altered by man- chipping, pecking marks, wear on edges, etc... good luck!

Most of us have picked up rocks and wondered if they could have been native made but after time you learn.

My best advice for you is to go to Google and type in different artifacts and do some research. You are going by just the shape so you need to see actual true Axes, Celts, Pestles, etc.

While these stones pictured are natural, sometimes Indians kept natural stones for any number of reasons. We have found many polished stones that had no peck marks, nor did they serve any obvious purpose. We are in a county with very few natural rocks other than limestone, so when we find a non-native rock we pay attention to it. They seem to be associated with trade, but if you're in an area with multiple rock sources, look for markings that shaped the rock or an obvious an unmistakable high polish. In some burials (legal, of course), we have found polished stones of various sizes and shapes that were obviously simply a pretty keepsake.
