Two Questions

First, I would like to know if anyone has a clue as to the maker or year of these two earrings marked sterling on the clamps....
The stones are very dark greenish something.

Next, I have a ring marked 91 STER.
Would that denote sterling, or only sterling plated?
It has a cross, grapes, a dove.


I got both of these from yard sales in the last two weeks.
Any info at all is very welcome.

The ring makes me think James Avery and its similar to some I'm looking at in their brochure right now.

I'm pretty confident the ring is sterling. Here is a photo of the mark for anyone interested (from other post)-

The earrings are mid century 1950's or 60's maybe, in my opinion. They look similar to this pair of "Sorrento" earrings-
