Before yesterday I hadn't gotten out since my colonial weekend. I did about 30 minutes yesterday and 45 minutes today at a sight. I went there looking for deep chirps.

Yesterday, I got two Indians: 1880, 1893

Found a nice New Orleans barber and a 1884 iHC ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1461709150.820539.jpg ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1461709159.374596.jpg today: ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1461709127.761422.jpg

I plan on doing the entire property. It's an 1685 house which I've dug William the 3rd and KG1 coppers, so I still have hopes of old silver.

Cheers

Steve

Very nice finds, congrats!

1685 house... I'd lose sleep at night thinking about what all could be there

Haha, thx Loco. The soil has been wicked dry so after a good rain the site may come back to life.

Thx Tom. I'm being outpaced by both Charlie and Bart 2:0 on Spanish silver in 2016. I know this site hold a couple Spanish 1/2R's somewhere buddy.

Cheers

Nice digs Steve! I knew you were going to beat me when I saw that "New Orleans Silver" post. You got me by two years - I dug a 1902-O barber dime just Tuesday night!

Good job on the silver in quick time.
With targets like that still in the ground I'd say your chances are still Very good.
It would be quite exciting to get a silver from William III era. Be even better if it wasn't Spanish. I'd love a Dutch Lion Dollar personally.
