Two separate pieces found in completely different locations. What are they?

Hi All! Two different finds in completely different locations at different times. I don't think they go together at all.

Do you know what the metal bar is at the bottom? Era? Thank you in advance!

The item at the bottom of the photo looks like a broken leaf spring from a car or a pickup truck, age is hard to say since many vehicles still have that type of spring.

I just Googled that. It very well could be! Looks like it might be half of it. Thank you for your help!
