U.S. brass button with small threaded screw backing.

[sarawisman]

Found this today before the rain hit. Dug up on property where a lot of Civil War relics have been found. Any ideas what time period?

Metal: Brass
Size: Approx. the size of a quarter or slightly smaller.

HH and thanks for looking!
